• With your league: League administrators and team managers can view your registration data, documents, and compliance status for the purposes of running the league.
• Public league websites: Your name, photo, jersey number, and game statistics may appear on your league’s public team page.
• Service providers: We use Cloudflare R2 for file storage, Stripe for payment processing, and standard cloud infrastructure. These providers are bound by data processing agreements.
• Legal obligations: We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

Data Retention

We retain your registration data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Documents such as ID images and SafeSport certificates are retained for the duration required by your league’s policies. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us at the address below.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted storage (Cloudflare R2 with access controls), HTTPS for all data in transit, and role-based access control. Sensitive documents (ID photos, private files) are stored in a private bucket accessible only to authenticated, authorized users. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data

Children’s Privacy

RootSoccer supports youth soccer leagues and may collect information about players under 18 years of age. In such cases, registration is completed by a parent or guardian who provides consent on behalf of the minor.
